SO....she has realized that all the white people sleep in the big beds. No more crib for me!! The beds are just doubles so Larry of course gets his own...then there is me and Kat was to be in the crib. Not last night. everytime I went to put her down. The bottom lip would come out...she would scowel and then howel!! OK--what do you say to a child that has come from an orphanage. "cry it out" doesn't seem to be the right answer. So I got my first experience of sleeping with a toddler. It wasn't so much she wanted to sleep with me as it was she just wanted to be in a big bed.
She is a thrasher too. Left to right pushes her body up and down. I did realize that this may have been a form of socializing for her. If the cribs were stacked closely she may have tried to get at the other children through the slats.
She played ball with Samantha yesterday. Priceless. back and forth. back and forth. They also split a serving of strawberry cheerios. These children Love to feed eachother. As they come out of their shells they are getting more and more concerned about the other ones. Where they are, how they feel and if they need something. Kat and Samantha are the only ones walking so they have a tendoncy to want to find each other. The other 2 are barely walking with assistance.
We didn't do such a good job with pics today. Everything needed its batteries recharged. We are going to the waterfall today. It is withing 100 kilometers of where baby Kat was found. I will be interested to see the people. So more pics tonight and they should be good.
