Thank Heaven We are finally Here
We had a rough start on the 15th. Got to Akron/Canton airport all checked in and the puddle jumper to Chicago was delayed. Then cancelled then they reassigned us to Northwest out of Akron at 12 noon to Detroit with a stop in Tokyo and now we are finally in Beijing. YEA. It took us about 32 hours to make the trip...whewwww Larry's starting to get a bit ripe!
We go to the Forbidden City and the Great Wall tomorrow. Then Gotcha Day is Sunday!!!! Tourists one day. Parents the next. We are going to bed. It is almost 11pm here. There is almost exactly a 12 hour differential.

We are off to the Great Wall and Tienaman Square. Staying at a nice hotel in Beijing. We did use our Ambien CR (modern medicine is wondrous). More to come!!!!!!!!!
